Potential Puppy Owners Questionnaire

Jacks are not for everyone.
What I expect from new families is that they’ve well thought out bringing a JRT into their home and are prepared for the level of training and care keeping a Jack Russell Terrier happy requires.
I will work with families who are new dog owners, new parents, people who work long hours, or who live in a city.
What I expect from you is your honesty in what your home can provide, and your respect for my expertise when it comes to discussing the appropriate puppy for your home.
Along with a WOM puppy comes:
- A health guarantee against genetic diseases that can currently be tested for, I proudly post all my health testing on my website
- A lifetime take back guarantee that no matter how your life changes, your pup will always find a safe landing with me
- A lifetime of support with training challenges
- A lifetime of open and honest communication about health and behaviour of their parents and relatives
- No contract to spay/neuter your pet
- Basic training as up to 8 weeks allows & a go home kit
Puppy Contracts
These are copies of the contract you’ll be asked to signed when purchasing a puppy from What’s One More
For those purchasing a pet/companion or taking in an older dog in need of a home Puppy Contract Pet Quality
For those purchasing a sport/breeding prospect dog
Puppy Contract Breeding Quality
So what’s the difference?
I will always disclose potential issues, diagnosed health problems or concerns with puppy owners. “Pet quality” dogs might just be a little too big or small, maybe don’t have the right colour or coat quality, or just otherwise don’t fit my standard for what makes a dog worthy of breeding.
They’re still all very good dogs.
Go Home Kit
Transitioning to a new home can be stressful on a young dog, in order to minimize this I always send new puppies home with
- A large enough supply of their current food to wean them onto your desired feed
- A small blanket with scents from their litter & mom
- First shots and a full health report
- Pedigree and access to parental genetic testing as available
- A few treats and toys
This is always included and not an add on to purchase price
8+ week Training
I firmly believe when it comes to learning to rat, dogs learn best from each other. While puppies are always exposed to older Jacks in their first 8 weeks, they’re still a bit young to learn the ins and out of hunting.
8+ week training is available at a boarding cost, to be discussed.
Up to 6 months is an option.
Older Dogs
On occasion I may have older puppies or dogs who are looking for a new or retirement home. I don’t give away dogs for free, but these dogs often come at minimal cost.
I am also open to co-ownership options with experienced homes who are committed to competing. Please fill out the same form and indicate that is what you’re looking for in the last section.
